The sun was shining on Sørlandet and it was a perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Melbourne Night Prowler found a gap and took the lead. Alberta Rori followed before Walking Cruiser.

This is the positions after 500m. Never Fade Away, Alberta Rori, Ice Cold Shot, Hard Rock, Melbourne Night Prowler, Ivanhoe C.C., Walking Cruiser, Climbing Speed.

Alberta Rori took the lead after 1000m. Hard Rock didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Ice Cold Shot was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Melbourne Night Prowler took the lead after 1000m. Alberta Rori didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Ivanhoe C.C. galopped for 10 m on the homestretch.

Melbourne Night Prowler didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
