Start List
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Drooling Tiger could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Drooling Tiger was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m. When the startcar left the field Pinstripe´s Cola started to galop and lost 20 m.
Night Bird Flying quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.
Tranquil Winter sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Night Bird Flying was disturbed and galoped 20 m.
Standings after 1500m . Lane one Tranquil Winter followed by Drooling Tiger and Pinstripe´s Cola. Lane two Van Der Sar followed by Heavenly Thought and Night Bird Flying.
Tranquil Winter sat safely in the lead after 2000m.
Van Der Sar speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.
No-one could catch Van Der Sar today who won before Drooling Tiger and Pinstripe´s Cola.
