One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Screaming Muscle tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Golden Sapphire that came steaming ahead.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Golden Sapphire was still in the lead after 1500m.




Golden Sapphire didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Golden Sapphire were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Shining Rose won the race after a spectacular finish.
