One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Leila Lightspeed tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Hier Nouvelles that came steaming ahead.




Active Mustache saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Rêve Royal started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Power Sergeant took the lead after 1000m. Impatient Thought didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Power Sergeant followed by Caipirinha and Active Mustache. Lane two Impatient Thought followed by Leila Lightspeed and Rebel Face. Hier Nouvelles galloped way to long and was disqualified.



Active Mustache litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Caipirinha won. Impatient Thought came in second. Leila Lightspeed caught third place.
