It had been raining for several days at Boden but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Hangar Queen found a gap and took the lead. Five Of Spades followed before Kvarngärdets Malabar.

Dancing Star saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Yeocomico sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Five Of Spades galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Yeocomico followed by Carlos Between The Sheets and Kvarngärdets Malabar. Lane two Open Your Mind followed by Close Boy and Hangar Queen.

With only a little left of the race Hangar Queen galoped for 40 m. Carlos Between The Sheets litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Open Your Mind won. Carlos Between The Sheets came in second. Yeocomico caught third place.
