The sun was shining on Gävle and it was a perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Trembling Garden. Thicker Than Water ended up behind the leader. Ruby Rebel got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Café Au Lait sprinted to the front. Almighty was disturbed and galoped 30 m.

Listening Bandwagon sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Listening Bandwagon followed by Trembling Garden and Café Au Lait. Lane two Useless Reticence followed by Thicker Than Water and Ruby Rebel. Serious Impact galloped for 20 m.

Thicker Than Water suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Trembling Garden never caught up with Thicker Than Water who won. Listening Bandwagon came third.
