Start List
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Blue Fountain could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Blue Fountain suddenly started to galop. Åsbjørn Tengsareid had to struggle to get Blue Fountain to tror again and succeded after 10 m.
The leader couldn't hold the lead and Frosty Passion sprinted to the front. Frosty Passion started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.
Cosmic Rhapsody looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Quipelo couldn't come out from behind the leader, Frosty Passion.

Quipelo won the race after a spectacular finish.
