Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Montegiorgio track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Waving Winter could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Elegant Pixie sprinted to the front.

Powerful Carlos looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Zafirah Larockma couldn't come out from behind the leader, Elegant Pixie.

Jeanne Dielman looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Silver Agent couldn't come out from behind the leader, Elegant Pixie.

Zafirah Larockma won the race after a spectacular finish.
