One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Slow Bandwith was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




This is the positions after 500m. Running Bandwagon, Gathering Darkness, Decisive Mustache, Très Important, Briano, Moonlight Maid, Glanz Dame, Curious Scomber.




Gathering Darkness sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Running Bandwagon galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m.




Glanz Dame looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Gathering Darkness was first on the homestretch followed by Slow Bandwith and Curious Scomber.






Slow Bandwith won the race after a spectacular finish.
