The weather had been good all week and Vaggeryd was in good shape.

The players just had time to make their last bets before the start. All horses seemed to be in good shape this day.

Singing Rose could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Lumberjack started to galop and lost 40 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Flying Sergeant, Délicieux, Baroque, Active Hero, Singing Rose, Giunchi, Jumping Blizzard, Il Bountiful Ces. Lumberjack started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

The leader got disturbed by something and Active Hero took the lead rather easily.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Active Hero followed by Il Bountiful Ces and Giunchi. Lane two Jumping Blizzard followed by Singing Rose and Baroque.

Active Hero didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead. Lumberjack gallopped 10 m after 2000m.

Jumping Blizzard suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Active Hero galopped for 20 m on the homestretch. Light Sun galopped for 40 m on the homestretch.

Il Bountiful Ces sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
