The weather had been good all week and Hankasalmi was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Wandering Thinker was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Enlightenment saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.



Starstruck Heroine was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Competitive Behemoth showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Pretty Spring galopped for 40 m on the homestretch.




Enlightenment won. Bleu Et Jaune came in second. Wandering Thinker caught third place.
