One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Ticking Glam could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.
Ticking Glam was in fine shape and held the lead.
Ticking Glam clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.
Nothing seemed to be able to stop Ticking Glam today. It continued in the lead.
Connemara took the lead.
Connemara sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.
Winner of todays race was Connemara. Ticking Glam came in second. Stepping Vanilla became third.
