The weather had been good all week and Visby was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Sayanora Hotshot was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. When the startcar left the field Frozen Thrasher started to galop and lost 10 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Sunday Lemon, Ticking Glam, Sophisticated Temptress, Dreaming Gentleman, Barefoot Box, Dirkshorn, Sayanora Hotshot, Frozen Thrasher.

Sunday Lemon was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.

Sunday Lemon was still in the lead after 1500m. Barefoot Box galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

Sunday Lemon was still in the lead after 2000m.

Sunday Lemon looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Knight Of Paris galopped for 50 m on the homestretch.

Dreaming Gentleman sprinted over the finishline before Ticking Glam and Frozen Thrasher.
