One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Criminal Donkey was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Lieutenant
Folder suddenly started to galop. Jukka-Pekka Kauhanen had to struggle to get Lieutenant
Folder to tror again and succeded after 10 m.
The leader couldn't hold the lead and
Balmoral Castle sprinted to the front.
King City Harrison galloped for 60m and was disqualified.
Have A Bite sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.
Have A Bite was still in the lead after 1500m.
Have A Bite sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.
Criminal Donkey sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
