One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Feuergeist sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Lonely Sunray was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified. Feuergeist suddenly started to galop. Harri Koivunen had to struggle to get Feuergeist to tror again and succeded after 50 m.

Quantico Creek saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Quantico Creek followed by Criminal Sao Feng and Tranquil Vanilla. Lane two Feuergeist followed by Force Of Speed and Useless Obsession.

Quantico Creek was still in the lead after 2000m.

Quantico Creek kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Mauri Jaara tried a little too much on the homestretch and Anakonda Skutt started to galopp and lost 50 m. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Slow Cruiser galop. Slow Cruiser lost 10 m.

Quantico Creek kept the speed the whole finish and won before Feuergeist and Criminal Sao Feng.
