One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Glorious Gold took the lead after a very quick start.
The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.
Stopping Starshine showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.
Glorious Gold clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.
Stopping Needle accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.
With only a little left of the race
Silver Fall galoped for 40 m. driver couldn't keep
Stopping Starshine to trotting so they were disqualified.
Glorious Gold suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.
Meadow Rebel won the race after a spectacular finish.
