The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Rättvik this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Breaking Passion could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Rational Tank was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Walking Energy, Rancho Cucamonga, Drooling Thrasher, Strong Piece, Rational Tank, Pirates Bullet, Devine Jewel, Breaking Passion.




Rancho Cucamonga took the lead after 1000m. Pirates Bullet didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Devine Jewel suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 40 m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Rancho Cucamonga today. It continued in the lead. Strong Piece galloped for 10 m.



Rancho Cucamonga sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Strong Piece sprinted over the finishline before Rancho Cucamonga and Pirates Bullet.
