One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Trench Monkey could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

This is the positions after 500m. Gold Red Chili, Frozen Wardrobe, Trench Monkey, Brown Boy, Eau Du Cologne, Sophisticated Red, Evelotion Ausdrücken, Stopping Momentum. A bird flew just in front of Stopping Momentum who started to galop and lost 40 m. Perfect Starlight galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Trench Monkey took the lead after 1000m. Brown Boy didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Gold Red Chili looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Trench Monkey started to gallop after 1500m and Jens Laursen had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Brown Boy suddenly took over the lead.

Brown Boy looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Gold Red Chili was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Trench Monkey was disturbed and galopped for 10 m.

Stopping Momentum made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Brown Boy.
