Carlos Aurora saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Carlos Aurora followed by Honourable Moment and Waterfront. Lane two Drooling Admiral followed by Italian Stallion Are Never Desolate and Good Looking Blast.

Drooling Admiral speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Italian Stallion Are Never Desolate made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Carlos Aurora.
