One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Jumping Lipstick took the lead after a very quick start.




This is the positions after 500m. Barone Giglia, Whiskey, On Alert, Viale Di Poggio, Shining Knight, Gold Necklace, Lightning Sabre, Gentleman Strategy. Jumping Lipstick started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Whiskey took the lead after 1000m. Gentleman Strategy didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Gentleman Strategy saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Whiskey galloped for 20 m. Barone Giglia galloped for 20 m.




Gentleman Strategy didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Gentleman Strategy were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Shining Knight galopped for 10 m on the homestretch.




Snowy Thrasher never caught up with Gentleman Strategy who won. Jumping Lipstick came third.
