The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Åby this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Legion D'liberty could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




This is the positions after 500m. Dancing Love, Rettungsboot, Lucky Trap, Stunning Spring, Asllani, Seductive Bouquet, Star, Flickering Hollywood. Legion D'liberty started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




The leader got disturbed by something and Stunning Spring took the lead rather easily. Silly Starshine was disturbed and galoped 20 m.




Lucky Trap accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Star galloped for 60m and was disqualified. driver couldn't keep Dancing Love to trotting so they were disqualified. Rettungsboot speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Asllani won. Flickering Hollywood came in second. Rettungsboot caught third place.
