Only a humble breeze blew over Bodø this day. The track where in perfect shape.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
King City Harrison tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to
Comet Clipper that came steaming ahead.
Flickering Nova quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of
Alfa Donna who started to galop and lost 10 m.
Rational Hyena took the lead after 1000m.
Adventurous Folder didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.
Standings after 1500m . Lane one
Rational Hyena followed by
King City Harrison and
Adventurous Folder. Lane two
Speedy General followed by
Space Shadow and
Lord Nelson.
Brave Sword started to gallop after 1500m and Jomar Blekkan had to struggle to get it back in trotting.
Rational Hyena were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.
The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused
King City Harrison galop.
King City Harrison lost 10 m.
Speedy General was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Hans Christian Holm tried a little too much on the homestretch and
Alfa Donna started to galopp and lost 40 m.
Comet Clipper sprinted over the finishline before
Flickering Nova and
Space Shadow.
