The weather had been good all week and Pihtipudas was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Forceful Sergeant. Floating Twister ended up behind the leader. Tripping Cherry got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

Just Cube quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Steel Pain took the lead after 1000m. Adventurous Beard didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Steel Pain followed by Just Cube and Floating Twister. Lane two Adventurous Beard followed by Tripping Cherry and Dim Ysmygu.

Steel Pain kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Forceful Sergeant won the race after a spectacular finish.
