It had been raining for several days at Sørlandet but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Dove Smooth could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Mr Burbon started to galop and lost 10 m.

Gold Strategy quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Sleeping Spring who started to galop and lost 40 m.

Ice Mountain sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Black Arraow saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.

Ice Mountain speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Black Arraow never caught up with Ice Mountain who won. Pom Duchess came third.
