One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Marta took the lead after a very quick start.
Life Is A Lemon quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Wolly Moonlight showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.
Venice Amo took the lead after 1000m. La Maglia didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.
Marta saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.
La Maglia suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.
Rational Blast was disturbed and galopped for 20 m.
La Maglia kept the speed the whole finish and won before Marta and Nicostrato.
