One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Corky was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.
Magic Amazon quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.
Magic Amazon clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.
Metz Entertainer galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m.
Corky galloped for 60m and was disqualified.
Kellogs was disturbed and galoped 10 m.
driver couldn't keep
Metz Entertainer to trotting so they were disqualified.
Magic Amazon clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.
Black Wave won the race after a spectacular finish.
