The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Skellefteå this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Dead Ship found a gap and took the lead. Süsspeisen followed before Breaking Thought.




This is the positions after 500m. Dominant Cruiser, Fighting Piece, Saltando Marziale, Breaking Thought, Süsspeisen, San Carlos, Shining Knight, Green Father.




Fighting Piece sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Green Father accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and San Carlos gallopped for 40 m.




Green Father kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Green Father sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Breaking Thought was disturbed and galopped for 10 m.




Dead Ship made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Travelling Doll.
