One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Trembling Grove found a gap and took the lead. Timisoara followed before Release Party.




This is the positions after 500m. Lucky Trap, Release Party, Twin Peaks Hoof, Soul Corner, Timisoara, Lucky Raspberry, Striking Cocktail, Galant Karabijn. A bird flew just in front of Trembling Grove who started to galop and lost 50 m. Light Sunset started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Twin Peaks Hoof sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Lucky Raspberry suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 20 m. Timisoara was disturbed and galoped 30 m.




Striking Cocktail looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



With only a little left of the race Soul Corner galoped for 20 m. With only a little left of the race Timisoara galoped for 40 m. Striking Cocktail kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Soul Corner sprinted over the finishline before Release Party and Striking Cocktail.
