One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Tempting Passion could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




This is the positions after 500m. Vipo, Old Wave, Tempting Passion, Whispering Wish, Golden Baby, Icke, Het Zoete Leven, Eloquence Festis.




Old Wave took the lead after 1000m. Vipo didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Golden Baby saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Punching Sound galloped way to long and was disqualified.




Golden Baby didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead. Punching Sound gallopped 20 m after 2000m.



With only a little left of the race Whispering Wish galoped for 10 m. Vipo litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Vipo kept the speed the whole finish and won before Golden Baby and Old Wave.
