The weather had been good all week and Årjäng was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Charle Mang found a gap and took the lead. Herald Of Baby followed before Mr. Cherry Man.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Pay My Food sprinted to the front.

Mr. Cherry Man sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Mr. Cherry Man followed by Wandering Sunshine and Pay My Food. Lane two Herald Of Baby followed by The Right Thing and Charle Mang.

With only a little left of the race Wandering Sunshine galoped for 30 m. Herald Of Baby litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

The Right Thing made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Herald Of Baby.
