One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Calming Rocket took the lead after a very quick start.
Libra quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of
Tricky Moon who started to galop and lost 30 m.
Holy Cocktail looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that
Calming Rocket couldn't come out from behind the leader,
Libra.
Holy Cocktail saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.
Polished Gladiator speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.
Polished Gladiator kept the speed the whole finish and won before
Calming Rocket and
Holy Cocktail.
