One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Grasping Glitter sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Cute Autumn suddenly started to galop. Markku Nieminen had to struggle to get Cute Autumn to tror again and succeded after 30 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Famous Nutcracker, Pink Velvet, Rational Valley, Falling Fist, Helpful Mountain, Rugged Movement, Grasping Glitter, Good Looking Crusher. A bird flew just in front of Adventurous Motor who started to galop and lost 30 m.

Pink Velvet took the lead after 1000m. Helpful Mountain didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Falling Fist looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Falling Fist sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Good Looking Crusher sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
