The players just had time to make their last bets before the start. All horses seemed to be in good shape this day.

Rich Gambler tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Première Édition that came steaming ahead. Dan-Åke Olsson wanted a little to much in the start and Fakse galoped for 50 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Grizzly Fever, Sneaky Cruiser, Assassin Hoof, Cd Saucerful Of Secrets, Rich Gambler, Excellent Boy, Winnipeg Gold Digger, Betelgeuse Cherry. La Maritza galloped way to long and was disqualified. Fakse started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Cd Saucerful Of Secrets took the lead after 1000m. Winnipeg Gold Digger didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Excellent Boy accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Sneaky Cruiser started to gallop after 1500m and Fredrik Persson had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Winnipeg Gold Digger was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Excellent Boy were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Première Édition sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
