One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Slow Thrasher took the lead after a very quick start.

Happy Thrasher saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Schwimmsport Gold started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Slow Thrasher sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Slow Thrasher was disturbed and galoped 30 m. Sunday Queen galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Slow Thrasher followed by Silver Knockout and Top Dynamite. Lane two Seductive Folder followed by Bold Brightness and Snowy Speed. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Impatient Cookie gallopped for 50 m.

Bold Brightness suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Bold Brightness galopped for 20 m on the homestretch.

Seductive Folder sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
