The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Åby today.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Fama Currit tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Preludia Star that came steaming ahead. Beautiful Wardrobe showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Moonlight Pearl sprinted to the front.

Trial And Error took the lead after 1000m. Fama Currit didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Fama Currit saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.

Charla Acerca suddenly took over the lead.

With only a little left of the race Charla Acerca galoped for 30 m. Fama Currit was first on the homestretch followed by Crazy For Diamonds and Preludia Star.

Final standings. 1 Crazy For Diamonds, 2 Preludia Star, 3 Fama Currit.
