The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Åby this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Whatever Brightness tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Moving Rocket that came steaming ahead.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Fair Necklace sprinted to the front. A bird flew just in front of Comfortable Sound who started to galop and lost 10 m.

Whatever Brightness sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Sergeant Plan looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Whatever Brightness seemed to be in top-form this day and took over the lead. Ghostly Sunray was disturbed and gallopped for 30 m.

Whatever Brightness looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Moving Rocket never caught up with Whatever Brightness who won. General Diamant came third.
