Start List
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Wasted Opportunity took the lead after a very quick start. Lage Den Spesiell showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.
Wasted Opportunity was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.
No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.
Standings after 1500m . Lane one Wasted Opportunity followed by Edmond and Phantom Pearl. Lane two Dansar followed by Fishermans Friend and Banana Pancake. Phantom Pearl galloped for 20 m.
Wasted Opportunity sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.
Cool Breeze was disturbed and galopped for 10 m.
Phantom Pearl made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Dansar.
