One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Moving Thinking could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Swedish Runner started to galop and lost 50 m.

Ice Commander quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Ice Commander clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Ice Commander followed by Go Bezerk and Teach Me Love. Lane two Flickering Brightness followed by Moving Thinking and Viaggiatore.

Ice Commander kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Moving Thinking made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Go Bezerk.
