One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Lurifax tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to
Desolate Striker that came steaming ahead. Desolate Striker suddenly started to galop. Carl-Erik Lindblom had to struggle to get Desolate Striker to tror again and succeded after 10 m.
Desolate Striker was in fine shape and held the lead.
Save The World started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.
The leader got disturbed by something and
Guard Of Ottawa took the lead rather easily.
