The sun was shining on Åby and it was a perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Whatever Brightness was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.

Mystic Stranger quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Memories Remain took the lead after 1000m. Beautiful Moment didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Memories Remain followed by Mystic Stranger and Whatever Brightness. Lane two Beautiful Moment followed by Without A Cause and Bad Habit.

Beautiful Moment litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Bad Habit was disturbed and galopped for 50 m.

Without A Cause never caught up with Beautiful Moment who won. Whatever Brightness came third.
