One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Lunch Box sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Crossing Winter was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m.




Lunch Box was in fine shape and held the lead. A bird flew just in front of Crossing Winter who started to galop and lost 20 m.




Thunder Royal looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Bobby Joe couldn't come out from behind the leader, Lunch Box.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Lunch Box followed by Pay The Price and Thunder Royal. Lane two Crossing Winter followed by Winner's Choise and Bobby Joe.



Pay The Price speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Winner's Choise sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
