One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Georgia Sunset tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Radiating Top that came steaming ahead.




Emilia Girl saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Modest Rocket sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Modest Rocket followed by Galaxyland Zipper and Radiating Top. Lane two Fenena followed by Emilia Girl and Smiling Lilac.



Modest Rocket sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Emilia Girl sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
