It had been raining for several days at Åby but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Dancing Key found a gap and took the lead. Criminal Chick followed before Criminal My.




This is the positions after 500m. Criminal Chick, Milk Cow, Killer Joe, Dancing Key, Criminal My, Shining Wind, My Mercurius, .




Criminal Chick clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Milk Cow galloped way to long and was disqualified.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Criminal Chick today. It continued in the lead.



Criminal Chick looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Killer Joe won the race after a spectacular finish.
