Start List
The sun was shining on Eskilstuna and it was a perfect day for trotting.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Gold Mine found a gap and took the lead. Dnem Nocí followed before Inkognito Sommerlich. Dnem Nocí was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.
Sleeping
Wish quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Dnem Nocí who started to galop and lost 40 m.
No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.
Standings after 1500m . Lane one Sleeping
Wish followed by Dnem Nocí and Gold Mine. Lane two Heavenly
Whirlwind followed by To Aasgard We Fly and Inkognito Sommerlich.
With only a little left of the race Dnem Nocí galoped for 50 m. Heavenly
Whirlwind was first on the homestretch followed by Gold Mine and Sleeping
Wish.
Final standings. 1 Gold Mine, 2 Heavenly
Whirlwind, 3 Sleeping
Wish.
