It had been raining for several days at Mariehamn but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were
From The Sky.
On The Field ended up behind the leader.
Hard Cold Rose got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Harri Koivunen wanted a little to much in the start and Light Speed Svensson galoped for 40 m. Box Hill was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.
Iskender Boy saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.
Box Hill started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. A bird flew just in front of
The Greatest Gift who started to galop and lost 50 m.
Screaming
Sniper took the lead after 1000m.
Light Speed Svensson didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.
Hard Cold Rose accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and
From The Sky gallopped for 20 m.
Hard Cold Rose sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.
driver couldn't keep
Terman Boko to trotting so they were disqualified.
On The Field sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
