The weather had been good all week and Axevalla was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Glorious Star was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Caffe showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and In My Soul sprinted to the front.

In My Soul was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.

Blue Hotel saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.

Blue Hotel sat safely in the lead after 2000m.

Blue Hotel kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.
