The weather had been good all week and Vermo was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Tricky Bouquet took the lead after a very quick start. The One Who Cares was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.

Colorado Appaloosa saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of The One Who Cares who started to galop and lost 30 m.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Furstinnan Av Halmstad looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Colorado Appaloosa started to gallop after 1500m and Kari Rosimo had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Furstinnan Av Halmstad kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.

Furstinnan Av Halmstad looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Tricky Bouquet galop. Tricky Bouquet lost 40 m. Jan Norberg tried a little too much on the homestretch and The One Who Cares started to galopp and lost 30 m. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Perfect Cake galop. Perfect Cake lost 10 m.

Furstinnan Av Halmstad didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
