It had been raining for several days at Romme but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Craftsman tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to King Mars that came steaming ahead. When the startcar left the field Calming
Rocket started to galop and lost 10 m.
Craftsman saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.
Gringo took the lead after 1000m. Craftsman didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.
With only a little left of the race Craftsman galoped for 40 m. Lonely
Lovebreaker took the lead after 1000m. Gringo didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.
Figure Of Speech made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Lonely
Lovebreaker.
