One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Glorious Sun could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Jan Hultman wanted a little to much in the start and Chancer galoped for 10 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Chancer, Trembling Lady, Close Movement, Yr, Glorious Sun, Roswitha Larockma, Judita Bakaou, Bad Dream. Glorious Sun started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Yr looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Bad Dream couldn't come out from behind the leader, Chancer.

Trembling Lady was disturbed and galopped for 20 m.

By The Beach sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
