Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Mikkeli track was in top-condition.

Riverfront sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Eye Candy showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.

Riverfront looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Smiling
Gold couldn't come out from behind the leader, Awesome Furious One.
Riverfront accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.
With only a little left of the race Riverfront galoped for 10 m. Riverfront sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.
Riverfront kept the speed the whole finish and won before Smiling
Gold and Awesome Furious One.
